Where can I find prep/cooking instructions?

A card with cooking  instructions and options will be placed in your boxed order.

 

How do I place an order?

Place your order online through our website under the "shipping" tab.

 

How do I pay?

Purchase can be made by credit or debit card upon checkout. 

 

How can I track my order?

You will receive your tracking number by email once it has been shipped.

 

How will I know my order has been shipped?

Once you place an order with us you'll receive an email confirmation that will include a link to your order status page through Shopify. This information will update as your order is prepared and eventually shipped.  Additionally, you'll receive email notifications from us providing updates, such as "Your order has shipped" and "Your order has been delivered." We want to ensure you can follow your deliciousness on its journey from our Baltimore kitchen to your door.

 

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, only within 24 hours of placing your initial order. You can cancel your order by emailing us at crabcakes@mamasmd.com with subject: *ORDER CANCELLATION*, order number, and name the order was placed under. Please provide additional details in body of email if you wish to cancel entire order or just select items.

 

How long will it take to receive my order after being placed?

We ship all orders to ensure next day delivery.

 

What days of the week will orders be shipped?

Monday through Thursday via UPS for next-day delivery.

 

When do I need to place my order to ensure next day delivery?

The previous day before order goes out by 1pm EST. (Eastern Standard Time)

 

Will my order arrive thawed or frozen?

Crabcakes are shipped FRESH & RAW and soups are shipped FROZEN but may arrive thawed. Our items are shipped with ice packs in Styrofoam coolers to ensure desired and safe temperatures.

 

Can I freeze my order?

Yes, just make sure they are stored in the freezer immediately upon opening.

 

Can I select a future delivery date?

Yes, use our delivery date calendar at checkout to pick an available date.

 

Does somebody need to be home to accept delivery?

No signature is required, but let gift recipients know that perishable items are coming & to cook or freeze immediately upon opening.

 

What do I do if my order arrives with damaged or missing items?

We are sorry to hear that but no worries at all! We will work to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. Please contact us at crabcakes@mamasmd.com with your order number as well as details and photos of the damaged items or what you are missing.
